Have received and fitted the replacement tops and they are excellent. Two points though 1. I have removed the screwed in plate at the bottom of the glass tubes on our original lights because the tubes would fill up with water ( the new ones haven't got a plate fitted any longer when they arrive) 2. The fit of the new tops is slightly looser so I used some insulating tape on the li to tighten the fit - noe they are perfect! Very happy with these lights! 👍👍👍👍👍

I have several Durham lights and they used to attract a white substance on the surface after rain which reduces the ability of the solar panels. I have found that if you polish the tops with car polish it stops this happening and the tops perform perfectly for much longed.
