Hello, each set of deck lights must be run of their own individual panel, they will not work correctly if all connected to one solar panel.

Can you extend the cable between the first light and the solar/power panel from the standard 2M to aid placing the solar panel in a better position?

Hi, I have two questions: 1. What is the depth of the metal surround / how high does the light protrude once installed in the deck? 2. Where you have previously said you don't do an extension cable to increase the distance between the first light and the solar panel; do you recommend any 3rd party extensions to achieve this? Thanks

Light body: 30mm diameter Light depth: 35mm Light metal surround: 44mm diameter Solar Panel: 205mm x 130mm x 30mm 1.5m of cable between each light for daisy chaining 2m of cable between the solar panel and first light USB to USB Micro Lead: 50cm I am afraid for reasons which I am sure you understand we cannot suggest/recommend any 3rd party extentions to achieve it.
I want to put my solar panel further than 2 meters away from the last light in the chain, is there a compatible extension lead to enable this and is what would the drop in light performance be if the length was doubled from 2 meters to 4 meters?

Hi Dave, they do come as a daisy chain so it should be possible as long as you are able to close the light up to avoid water ingress
is there a reset button as they last for two nights then stop, I added two more batteries, moved lights to avoid all nearby street ighting, and no change, i tried the switches in all combinations, I push the button and they work again for two nights again, or do i have to buy a replacement solar panel

Hi Malcolm, I would suggest to switch the lights off completely and leave the panel in a sunny place let it gather a booster charge for 3 to 5 days abd then switch them back on agaain
I notice in a previously asked question that you do a set of 4 lights, does the set of 4 lights come with the solar panel and are they linked together. Kindest Regards

The sets of 4 lights (Mirage, Round and Square) are all individual units, not linked together or to a panel. They all have integrated panels.

Yes, the light comes with a mouting bracket.
Do these us the same cabling as the Edinburgh USB Solar Stainless Steel Deck Lights that these have superseded? Hoping use my existing cables to replace the Edinbugh lights that are failing.

Unfortunately not. The Advance units are wired differently to the old Edinburgh lights.

Hello, unfortunately we do not. Our decking lights come in sets of 4 or 8.
How do you install the lights in your decking if the boards are nailed down. As there is a daisy chain cable between each light?

You would have to lift or remove parts of the decking and install it one by one, as they would need to be daisy chained underneath the surface.

Hi Scott, we would not advise to connect more lights as the panel is designed to provide the exact power source for 8 any more may dim the lights.
Would I be able to put these in white gravel that sits at the back of decking and under a row of fern trees, again in white gravel

Hi Coral, You could put them under gravel as the deck lights have USB charging. The Advance solar panel can be disconnected from the light string and taken inside to charge via USB quickly and easily.

Unfortunately, you will be unable to extend the cable length between each light. The extension cable will only extend the length between the solar panel and the first lights.
Where do I get hold of the two additional batteries? Will they charge from the solar panel alongside the supplied battery, or do they only charge via the USB method?

Can these lights be buried into a lawn to highlight a path which runs alongside. Alternatively are there any other decking lights where this can be done?
