Hello, You can purchase a spare panel, if you go to your order history, there is a spare parts section where you can purchase spare parts for products you have bought in the past. They do not have replacebale batteries.

Not much sun today so lights only came on for about 2 hrs. Can the solar panel be disconnected during the day and placed in a better position for the sunlight then reconnected in the evening How does the pier saving work? And how do I switch to that mode please Thankyou

Hi Julie, As you have said there has not been much sun around. You can unplug these as the battery is in the unit, so this should charge them up. To activate the powersaving mode please refer to the instructions which should tell you, however I have included this below for you: Please locate the slide switch on the underside of the solar panel. Slide switch into on position: The lights will come on after dark in full brightness mode. Slide switch into off position The lights will turn off. They will still charge, but they will not turn on unless you switch them back on. Slide switch back into on position: The lights will come on after dark in Powersaving mode where reduced by 50%, but the lights will work for twice as long each night. Slide switch into off position The lights will turn off. They will still charge, but they will not turn on unless you switch them back on Powersaving will allow the lights to shine as a reduced rate so they last longer, we recommend this for the Winter Months.

They split off from the splitter on a 4.5m cable, and can be exteded once to a total cable length of 9.5m each.
Is it 200 lumens per light or 200 lumens over 4 lights i.e. 50 lumens per light? Thank you.

Hi Les. The extension cable will be able to extend the length between one light and the splitter. If you require all of the lights to be extended, you will need 4 separate extension cables.

Hi Tracy. There is a push button on the back of the solar panel. Please make sure that you are covering the solar panel if you are attempting to turn the lights on during daytime or a bright setting.

Hi Charlie. These lights are a dusk till dawn light, but can be switched on manually via the button on the back of the solar panel. You will be unable to run these lights on a timer.

These will always come on automatically at night if they are left switched on, you can turn them off at whatever time you wish in the evening.

No the lights are not connected in a way they can be taken apart, you cannot remove one from the chain as they are all connected.
Is the cable from the splitter to each individual spot spot 4.5m allowing the spots to be spaced 9m apart from the splitter should the need arise.

I know these are spotlights and I know it's all a bit subjective but... How would these fair at providing light on an area of driveway (in a location with no street light) to provide some light to walk to/from the house/car at night? The area I need to light, at night, has no other lighting currently (save the moon on some nights). I suppose it part it comes down to how focussed the beams are (it's a shame that you don't have a photo showing the subject they are focussed on). I don't really want the extreme light of a bright security light, just enough light to see the way without kicking a cat or two. The walk from car to/from house is about 10 metres and these appeal due to being able to spread them out a bit. Any thoughts?

There is 4 lights so that cannot be changed, so you would need all 4. The lights will work from dusk until dawn or until the batteies run out. In winter you will need to put them on powersaving and you will probably get 4-6 hours roughly, depending on the panel location and weather conditions,.

I bought these lights through Amazon and I am very pleased. I know that with a mains cable it should not be wound up if too long as it can overheat. Is it safe to wind the excess cable into a bunch on these lights when the distance to the solar panel is shorter than the 4.5m ? Thank you Ralph

Atlas has a powersaving mode which will help prolong the life of the light throughout the winter. You can usually expect up to 6 hours in the winter.

We recommend having the panel as south facing as possible with access to clear and direct sunlight, so not under any foilage or tucked behind any bushes at all. You can either stake them into the ground or wall mount the panel.
