Frequently asked questions

When will this item be available for purchase please?

Asked by Barbara Brown on 2 Jul 2016

This has been discontinued and won't be available again.

if we connected a flexi pipe to the pump how far verticaly would the pump, pump to flow into a water feature, it would only have to be a trickle.

Asked by Colin Robillard on 3 Apr 2016

This is not a very powerful pump and is ideal for small ponds and bird baths. I suspect it would be a trickle.

Could I fit a flexi pipe to the pump to route the water through a stone frog, instead of using the fountain attachment? Thanks

Asked by Carole on 18 Mar 2016

Yes you could providing the water does not need to go far to go through the frog. It is not a powerful pump and is ideal for bird baths and small ponds.

What is the Water flow capacity?

Asked by Nyal Xuereb on 14 Sep 2015

We do not have the precise technical features as it is only intended as a small solar pump for bird bath or otherwise.

we have a 72cm (diameter) container pond. The foundation tips that have come with it goes past the edge of the container. |Therefore the water just goes up, over and out the container. Even on the lowest settings, How fair out does the Everjet spread to? If it helps this is the product we have (but in black) http://www.primrose.co.uk/solar-powered-pond-pot-kit-with-72cm-white-planter-and-fountain-p-82606.html?src=prod_col Kind regards Miss Emma Jackson

Asked by Emma Jackson on 1 Sep 2015

It spreads to 80cm during peak of summer. The rest of the year it depends on the strength of the sun and how much of it gets on the solar panel.

Asked by Mr p lilley on 26 May 2015

All items come with a 12 month guarantee that starts from the date of purchase

Hi could I use this to create a stream in a preformed water feature - for example a pebble pool? Would it be reasonably easy for a (not very technical) female to install? Thanks!

Asked by Jacquie on 22 May 2015

It is very easy to install and has instructions. It is perfect for small water features.

Hi. Can you use the pump without a fountain head? I want to connect a short length of hose to take the water into the bottom of a small jug type vessel so the water trickles over the lip of the jug and back into the hidden reservoir in which the pump will be hidden (a bucket hurried in the ground with a mesh top and gravel over the top). I Don't have a problem with sighting the solar panel.

Asked by Roger Atkins on 30 Jul 2014

Yes, you can use the pump without a fountain head. What you want to do is entirely possible.

Please can you provide me with the dimensions of the pump and float, in order that I can check if it will fit in my bird bath. Thank you.

Asked by Michelle Muir on 4 Jun 2014

Flotation pad is 17cm diameter by 1cm thick. Pump is 7 x 3.5 x 4.5cm. The shortest you have have the spout part is roughly 5cm.

How far away can the solar panel be put to gain the most sun, as where the fountain will be does not get much sun, we want it mainly to oxygenate the water.

Asked by Michelle on 23 Jan 2014

As long as the pump can be submerged the Everjet will work fine in a pebble pond.

Will your solar fountain work in a pebble pond?

Asked by Martin on 23 Jan 2014

There's 5m of cable between the solar panel and the pump.
