they sit flat and level with the decking
Do these lights require installation? i.e drilling holes in decking?
Asked by Elizabeth on 29 May 2021
You will have to drill two holes in order to attach the light securely to the decking area with the two screws provided.
Hi, How big is the solar panel? How do you screw them? Can you not slide them into the little gap that exists between the decking panels?
Asked by Regina on 13 Apr 2021
The dimensions of the light are: 110mm x 110mm x 22mm deep and the panel is on top. You will have to drill two holes and use the screws provided to securely attach the light to your decking area.
Do these need to be screwed in or cemented in to a patio or decking or can the just sit on top?
Asked by Louise on 25 Mar 2021
We do recommend following up with the instructions and these lights need to be screwed into the decking area.
Can these be fitted to floor patio slabs? If so do they have to be screwed or could an adhesive be used?
Asked by James on 8 Mar 2021
These will need to be screwed down. I would not recommend adhesive as over time it will become loose. They will work on the patio slabs, just as long as there is no additional light or outside that might get onto them, if that does happen then the light will assume it is daytime and not come on.
Is the price for one light or a pack of lights?
Asked by Jane on 21 Oct 2020
The price is for one light.

I have a border with pebbles In could I sit these lights in the pebbles as long as solar panel was not covered
Asked by Lorraine on 3 Jul 2020
These are mainly for decking and will need ample drainage. So not really recommended for gravel.
Can these be used in flower borders in a garden - as in placed directly in the soil?
Asked by Charlotte Lennon on 27 Jun 2020
These are only made for decking, I would not recommend placing them into the soil as there will not be ample drainage.
Hi, can these be fitted onto 100mm square decking newel posts? Used as like a cap for the post?
Asked by Tom on 24 Jun 2020
Hello, these are 110mm x 110mm x 22mm deep so may not fit if they are 100mm posts. These should work as a post top as the panel is on top and provided it receives direct sunlight it will charge. Please do check measurements before installing.
Hi can these just sit on a gravel path without being fixed?
Asked by Angela on 14 Jun 2020
If you wanted to do this, however, there would be no way of securing them down, so if they were damaged by people accidently kicking them it would invalidate the warranty.
Hello, how many lights do you get in an order? Is it £15 for one light or do you get a few in an order? If so how many? Thanks.
Asked by Annie Sandham on 11 Jun 2020
You get one light with the order.
Hi can you replace the batteries in these lights? If not how long are they expected to last? Thanks Steve
Asked by Steve on 7 Jun 2020
The batteries cannot be changed in this product.
Hi, I was just wondering if you have any lights like the decking lights but they go into the grass instead of decking.
Asked by Emma on 29 May 2020
It might be best to look into our spotlights range instead. Some of our spotlights can be installed with a spike that goes inside the grass and keeps the light in place.
Hi 3 in 1 questions: - How long are the cables from the solar panel to the light fixtures? - What are the dimensions of the solar panel? - How is the on/off funciton of the lights controlled?
Asked by sarah on 3 May 2020
The panels are intergrated so there are no wires. the lights dimensions are 22cm x 110mm x 110mm. The lights do not have an on/off button, they just need to be left outside for 3-5 days and when the battery is charged they will come on.
We had some steps built recently. I was looking for something that can illuminate them. How are they fixed?
Asked by Loretta Kostecka on 25 Nov 2019
1) Leave your light in your intended installation location for at least a few days to observe the amount of light reaching the solar panel by day and ensure you’re happy with the runtime at night before installing the light. 2. Once you’re satisfied the location is satisfactory mark and drill holes using the light as a template. 3. Depending on the material you’re fixing the light to the wall plugs may not be needed but always seek the advice of a professional if you’re unsure.4. Screw the light down securely so it’s held firmly in place.
