I can’t believe how bright these lights are! They look so good that I’m purchasing more. You won’t be disappointed. They are easy to install. Personally for me I love how different they look to other solar decking lights By Nina on Jun 16, 2020

Lincoln deck lightsVerified Purchase
This was my second set of 4 bought recently as was impressed with the quality and light style of the first set of 4 however with looks quality and style the same it was disappointing to see that there is clear water ingress in one light which I find unusual in a fitting made for outside and of IP 67/8 rating and described as waterproof, although this light is still operating I wonder for how long ?
Also one of the lights is no longer working which is again disappointing after only recently been bought. By William Griffiths on Jun 11, 2020

Fabulous Decking LightsVerified Purchase
I bought 6 of these lights for my brand new (and expensive) timber decking after a lot of research on the web. I wanted waterproof lights that didn't require boring or drilling holes in my pristine decking. Not only that they had to look good.
These are really well designed, as the 12 LEDs are positioned around the edge thus giving a large surface area for the solar panel facing upwards.
I have had them a week now, they charged up really quickly from the box and emit a warm white light which looks great. I got up in the early hours and noticed they were still shining brightly at 4:00 a.m.!
They seem to live up to their IP68 rating as after 2 days of heavy rain, no sign of water ingress. The lights have no on/off switch which is often a weakness in cheaper lights.
I experimented to find the best position for them before screwing them to the deck with the 2 small screws provided. If I had one tiny criticism, the screw heads were a little soft and although most went in with no trouble, I managed to chew up a couple of the cross heads so might have a problem removing them. Not only that, since the rain, some have started to show signs of rust, not very sightly. It would be easy for the manufacturer to change the screws for higher grade stainless steel, or else use your own.
All in all extremely pleased and I would recommend to anyone who doesn't mind paying a bit extra for a well designed (not the screws), stylish and efficient lights. Happy to supply a photo if anyone is interested. By Edloon on Apr 30, 2020

We had some steps built recently. I was looking for something that can illuminate them. How are they fixed? By Loretta Kostecka on Nov 25, 2019
1) Leave your light in your intended installation location for at least a few days to observe the amount of light reaching the solar panel by day and ensure you’re happy with the runtime at night before installing the light.
2. Once you’re satisfied the location is satisfactory mark and drill holes using the light as a template.
3. Depending on the material you’re fixing the light to the wall plugs may not be needed but always seek the advice of a professional if you’re unsure.4. Screw the light down securely so it’s held firmly in place.

There is no reason why these cannot be used on paved patios.
