Hi, The bases can be screwed into brick, however, we do not provide masonry screws with the lights.
Hi, what reason would there be to need replacement tops for the London XT path lights? I can understand why the rechargeable batteries may require replacement but why the tops? I bought 3 sets of the path lights in Feb '22 and now 3 of the lights are not working. We've replaced the batteries and they still don't work. Would it mean we need to replace the tops? I would expect them to last longer than less than 2 years.

Hi Sarah, Thank you for your message, the reason we offer replacement tops would be due to the fact that natural weathering can affect the longevity and functionality of panel and electrical components, which cant always necessarily be addressed by replacing a battery.

I have purchase the london solar lights what does the P & S switch stand for I m guessing Power and Solar but probably wrong - I ve set them to P should they be on S? To work?

Hi there, The S is a standard mode which is its full brightness and is advised to use in summer, The P is a powersaving mode which dims the light to extend the runtime which is advised to use in winter.

Do these need to be in direct sunlight to charge? I want to put them up a path which is shaded all day by an avenue of trees and am worried they will not charge effectively, especially during the winter months.

They do need to be in direct sunlight Im afraid however the tops can be taken off and placed in sunlight to charge then you put them back on the post where desired.

I have just purchased a pair of these London lights. I've had them in the sun all day set in the "S" position and they didn't come on at night. Is it possible that the protective film is still on the solar panel?

The protective film should be removed prior to charging the units. You will just have to peel it off the edges of the panel.

The film on top should be easy to just peel off, like a ready meal, if this is not easy then it appears they may have been omitted during manufacturing, but should still work perfectly fine.

Hi, Can you adjust the sensitivity for these lights as I've got 4 and 2 are near the front door ( 1m away from door) which is white but when it gets dark they don't come on as the glare from the door is stopping them from working. Thanks

No, sorry there isn't a way to turn down the sensitivity.

Yes, the batteries are easily removable. They are in the lighthead. They are 2 x AA rechargable 1.2v.

The light comes with batteries (AA rechargeable 1.2v x2) and these come pre-installed. Usually the batteries would need to be changed around 2-3 years time, roughly.
How long the lights could last with the rechargeable battery, especially in winter night? We hope the paths lights on till 11pm, is there high capacity battery or supplement battery?

The battery included is a AA rechargable battery. They should run from dusk until the batteries run out or dawn, whichever happens first.
Don't these lights have a power save mode, Like the mini version? I want to place them somewhere that does get full sun all day?

We have no recommended distance as it down to how you'd like it to look. Some customers have them 50cm apart, some at 1m and some in pairs next to each other.

The Londons are supplied as standard cool white however you can purchase warm white tops separately from here - just select the warm white colour when adding to your basket. We have the Tunbridge Garden Lights that are warm white garden lights.
Is it possible to operate these lights with remote batteries and solar charger and also remotely switch on and off as required I am wanting to use this type of light on my gate posts and would require four.

Unfortunately this isn't possible, currently the Evo Floodlight is the only light that features a remote control.
I see that these lights can be screwed into decking. Can they be screwed into paving stones or would i need to first fix a wooden plinth to the slabs?

If you have the right tools it could be screwed into paving stones. This is not our recommended installation which is to use the spike to push into the ground.

The London Post can be installed on decking. It is not our recommended way and can be fiddly to do.
Can you tell me if the tube that lights up comes off these units or is it just the top part that contains the solar panel, battery, bulb etc? I have two similar units but they are wall mounted ones that come out from my fence posts at approx 15 degree angle, but at 6 years old the clear tubes have cracked and perished. I can't find the same units again so I'm wondering if I can simply order these and put the top half in the current wall posts.

The plastic diffuser tube part does come off, yes.
On the lights that have arrived today I can see the switch and I can see it is in the middle (off) position but I can't see any markings for S or P. I'm holding the top so all the lettering on the circuit board is the right way up and the switch is at the bottom. Which way would I move the switch or S?

The P and S is very faint but can be seen as raised letters on the white plastic. The easiest way to tell is to move the switch to one side and then the other: the brighter side is the S side.
I purchased some of these lights in August and they have been fantastic but one has decided it wants to illuminate during the day and turn off at night. Can you offer any advise to correct this or supply a new top under warranty? Kind Regards, Allen

Please turn it off for a few days to allow it to charge fully. If it still does not improve it may be worth checking or changing the batteries.

We recommend 3 to 5 days for a full charge on all lights. 3 if it is nice and sunny. 5 if there is a lot of cloud cover or rain.

The off position is in the middle. These are the tops with the power-saving setting, which is slightly dimmer than the normal setting.
Is 600 mAh enough for a 10h light? I mean, in a full sunny day, I guess more than 600 mAh can be collected (for future days too)
