Hi, The Shard is a reinforced plastic unit.
Can I unplug the solar panel and put it in a sunnier spot in winter to charge then re plug it in ? The position where they are placed in winter doesn't get enough sun

Hi Rico, Thank you for your message, we have lights that would have the battery in the Solar panel and some in the light itself. With our Shard you can do exactly that. As the battery is inside the panel you can place it in a different position let it charge in the sun and connect it back to the light when fully charged.
Please indicate, or supply pictures of how the unit is secured in the ground. I'm concerned it could be stolen if unsecure.

Hi Chris, Thank you for your message, if you have decking then these can be screwed into the wood but if you want to place them into soil you can use the spike this is not as secure as screws unfortunately
How does this fit into the ground. Pictures would be good as part of the advert.
