Excellent Solar light
Reviewed on 3 Oct 2026
Really good replacement for an 11 year old 'Signaller' Motion sensor light. One small niggle - instructions for setting required light option not very clear. Took 3 days 'clicking' button to find correct one as it was not safe for me to do it at night as suggested in leaflet - so maybe 4.9 stars?

Brilliant !

My wired mains dusk to dawn light had gone wrong. So needed a replacement. The Dover light covers a good area and the light is brilliant-literally ! and with options for various settings. I initially set it up on the constant low light setting with the PIRs putting in to full light when movement detected. The following night I set it to on when motion detected and this is the best setting for winter. The unit is well made and fully adjustable to suit needs. Very pleased with the light and have recommended this to my family.

Easy to install and use
Reviewed on 30 May 2026
Having yet put it up for about a year and a half since purchase, worked just fine and did the job after installation. One downside is the light assembly isn't really locked in to the mount, so would consider further securing it with something lime a table tie especially when it"s windy.

Excellent products and service

I am a regular customer of the Solar Centre. Always great. I ordered 2 of these lights. One was superb but the other not clever. The company was brilliant and sent a replacement straightaway. That one is great, The customer service is so good that I am always confident with purchases. More than 20 purchases over the last 4 years and 100% for products and service.

Will get another!
Reviewed on 21 Jan 2026
Impressed. Have one at the porch of my bungalow. Illuminates both the small front garden & the path running by. Will probably get at least another one, possibly two, for the sheds in the back garden. Only reasons for not giving 5*'s. Emailed a query about the price/discount voucher, which was not replied to. Secondly, had a slight issue with the base plate. The light unit does not seem to click/lock in to it as expected. But a very good, bright light, & I will be getting at least one more.
