Absolutely brilliant lights. I paid a little extra than I usuallly do but have already been so impressed. The solar panel looks like it means business - definitely not cheap and tacky like many! I love having the ability to charge by USB meaning these lights were ready to go tonight. And wow! They look fabulous. They create the perfect ambience. I love them. Great service - Having enjoyed the Falmouth lights I purchased earlier this summer I reordered another set. I am very happy with their quality and performance. The lights are attractive, robust and still lit at 05:30 in the morning even after a partly sunny day. Excellent service is more than just posting boxes promptly, it's how you are treated when your delivery ­goes astray. My post code was one digit out on my second order and the lights went on a trip to the seaside. The prompt response to my emails from the Solar Centre was brilliant they were helpful and efficient in resolving the issue. I can recommend them as a good company to do business with.

Bright Festoon Lights Verified Purchase
I returned a set of Elan Solar Festoon lights which I received a refund for without any problem. I returned them because they weren't as bright as I expected and bought a set of Falmouth USB Solar lights. The Falmouth lights give a fantastic amount of light out with a choice of three different levels. Even the lowest setting gives an adequate Iight. I would thoroughly recommend these if you are looking for a good functional level of lighting and not just a decorative effect.

Blown away how bright they are Verified Purchase
So impressed with these solar lights, they are so bright they look like plug-ins, so much brighter than other solar lights I've seen, really glad I paid a bit more for these. The build quality is good with glass bulbs. 3 brightness settings. Only thing I would change is that there is a short distance between the solar panel and the first bulb - not an issue for me because we installed the panel on the fence but could be tricky it you wanted the panel in the ground (your bulbs would start halfway up the fence). Love them so much going to buy more!

These festoon lights are excellent. They are really bright on the brightest setting, so light up a dark seating area in the garden. Only negatives are short lead from solar panel to first bulb, so have had to perch the panel, in view, on top of fence panel; also the hanging hooks on the bulbs are only on one side and I can't use them to hang, double sided hooks would be better.

Brighter than i thought they'd be Verified Purchase
These things are great. I built a patio all the way at the end of my quite long garden and did not want to run extension cables all the way from the house. I was having a BBQ with some mates and after the sun went down, even with a small bonfire going it was a bit silly. A couple of guys turned the torches on their phones on. I set up these lights around the edge of the patio and it light up the area great. Not so bright as to disturb the neighbors (although there are several settings where i can turn the brightness down), it gives just the right background light so we can all stay outside after dark and keep drinking...

Great solar lights Verified Purchase
I have 3 sets of these set up along the top of the garden fences. They work really well, but the bulbs sometimes go dark - easily fixed by reinserting them into the holder. One set started to flash rapidly and I managed to fix this by replacing the lithium batteries. The surround of the panel snaps off and there are 8 small screws. Inside are 2 18650 LiOn batteries which aren't soldered in and are easily replaced.

Have these in my kitchen charged via usb, they are much brighter than any other solar lights I have used. Great quality, and good you can replace the bulbs and buy an extension. Only minor criticism is that the black cable isn't very attractive, it would be great if you could get a white/clear version which would blend in with the decor better!
