Ordered this as one of my lights base units had failed after around 6-7 years. Works just like the original and was delivered in 2-3 days. One point to note - the replacement base didn't come with the optional feet inserts, so don't dispose of those if you use them.

When we had an area of the garden remodelled I ordered 5 shapelights in two different designs and have been so pleased with them One recently stopped working properly whereby in outdoor mode it would remain on even when it was light. As it was outside the guarantee period I ordered a replacement base unit. which arrived promptly Out of curiosity I contact their customer service team and they thought it could be a fault with the battery and they sent me a new one free charge and asked me to let them know if that solved the issue. Sadly it did not I when I passed this onto them they offered to sent me a replacement base unit free of charge so I had a back up base until How is that for customer service!!!!!! It even spurred us n to ordering a couple of their Firefly lights which will be arriving next week

Bought 2 sphere lights for the garden & loved them but they just didn't keep their charge and didn't light up after the initial night despite there being plenty of sun. Contacted customer services who sent to new base units and this has now sorted the problem! Love them!

I bought a pillar light in May and all was well up until about a couple of weeks ago when it stopped charging out in the garden, I thought maybe it hadn't been sunny enough so I charged it via usb and then put it back outside but after a few days it stopped lighting up so I charged it via usb again and phoned The Solar Centre customer services who said they would send me a replacement base free of charge as it was still under guarantee and it arrived 2 days later and after charging it up it's now outside glowing nicely!! Very happy!! Thank you

I have 3 of these and they have been fine for a couple of years until 2 stopped charging. Tried to fine out how to replace the base without success, so emailed the solar centre who replied quickly with a link and a discount code. Replacements arrived 2 days later. Extremely pleased.

Sphere light only worked inside on mains. Would not charge the base for outside solar use. Telephoned the Solarcentre, new base unit delivered the following day and all works perfectly fine. Love the light (purchased 4 different shapes/sizes) and very pleased with the service and prompt solving of the issue. Thank you.
