A USB charge should take between 6 and 8 hours, and the green indicator light will switch on (as opposed to red).

Via solar charge, the light should take 3-5 days to charge to completion.

Hi we bought a set of these last year.Anyway my husband in his wisdom remove the batteries pack for winter and now we can't find it. Can you buy a new battery pack. I'm just wondering because I've put the lights on an arch and I'm a little stressed and don't want to take them down as it's a lot of lights. These lights are fantastic and look great. Kind regards

Question:

Id like to wrap these around and along the length of chestnut fencing (20+ metres) but at the far end it is quite shady (solar panel might not get loads of light, how many hours is needed). The other end (near the house and drive) has a sunnier aspect but there are house security lights which are permanently on during the evening, plus there are vehicle lights frequently. Can you set the lights so that they automatically turn on in the evening regardless of whether there are other lights present? I'm looking at having them at the wedding next year, where there will be even more lighting present.

If there is any light getting onto the panel then the lights will assume it is daytime, so will not work if the panel is plugged in. You do have the option of fully usb charging and then using them outside without the panel attached if you wanted to, however, this isn't an ideal permanent solution.

We strongly recommend charging in the first instance with USB charging, but if you place these on powersaving then they will run for you. Please do make sure that they are not near any other lights source in the evening or thye will not come on as they will assume it is day time.

Yes, if you fully charge them and then unplug the panel it will run in the day time. Please remember to re-attach the panel after so it can charge or you can just recharge the USB tube.

Yes, please do read the instructions on 'indoor mode' and this will help. All you need is the tube (not battery) and plug it into the wall without the panel attached.

Yes, and No, the panel contains the sensor which switches to charge mode (lights off) and lights on mode. You may be able to position the solar panel at a location and an angle in which the street light doesn't hit it but you would need to test this yourself. Control pack to panel is 2 meters.

It does. The 300 version has bigger batteries and a better solar panel to support the extra LEDs. Run time in both is about the same due to the increase.
