I bought these 6 months ago and put them up in autumn and they needed charging about every 5 days by USB to stay on all night, which I think is fair. Now the sun is out, they need no USB charging. At this 6 month point, 4 of the bulbs have gone and the box is supplied with 2 spare so I have 2 lights out. The nut which you screw into to hold the panel in place is loose and easily lost - I lost one in my artificial grass but this was replaced by the company. It really should be fixed on because it's annoying to hold it place every time you take the panel off to charge. But happy with them nevertheless, would be good if you could buy identical dimmable bulbs here.

These lights are very pretty. I like they fact that you can change the bulbs and that there is a hook on each fitting so that you can fix them really securely and stop them being damaged in the wind. The downside is that the charge doesn't last as long as Lumify lights. I recharged them fully using USB, but on dull days they only last 1 or 2 nights despite a large solar panel placed in a south facing position. My Lumify lights on the other hand have only needed one recharge so far this winter. Their smaller solar panel is positioned adjacent to my Festoon lights one.

These are really nice: the bulbs look expensive and heavy but are actually quite light, the light temperature is nice and warm and the ambient light sensor works great (just turn on at dusk and that's it). As other people already mentioned, the lead from the charging solar panel to the first bulb is relatively short, so make sure you plan for that. Other than that (and it is what it is, for some applications might be just perfect), I have nothing else to point out. The panel itself can be detached so you can bring it back in to charge via USB, but I just let it do its thing when we have sun. Oh, and it shipped really quick. Fantastic product, just go for it.

I purchased a couple of sets of the Falmouth Solar / USB LED lights to decorate the outside of a carport. Very impressed with the results so far. After initially charging the solar panel via the handy mini USB port for about 5 hours the internal indicator turned green indicating that a full charge had been achieved. This then gave three consecutive nights of illumination. When the battery charge gets too low, I have noticed that the LED lamps tend to rapidly flicker, but you can always turn them off via a switch on the rear of the solar panel. There is also another pushbutton switch which allows you to select three different brightness settings (the medium setting gives a pleasant warm white light appearance). Would recommend if you are after a more traditional string of LED lights.

Got these lights last week and they look absolutely stunning. When I bought the lights I thought they were going to be bigger, but they are the size of a golf ball. Saying that, when we put them up they looked lovely! I charged them fully with a usb cable first and they have come on every night since, even after cloudy days. Nice that you can adjust the brightness as well. They are of very good quality. The only thing I would change is the length of the cable going to the solar panel, but I would really recommend them.

Lovely set of lights seems to be good quality and work very well given the sunny conditions we have had recently- I initially charged them with usb which is a nice option. I agree with very short cable between lights and solar panel but this was fine for me as have attached it to fence which gets lots of sun. My only real issue was that the clips are on one side and dont seem to be adjustable and if the panel is on the correct side then they clip easily but if you need the panel on the other side then The wire has to loop around the clips which looks a little odd! Overall though I am very happy - they give as much lights as mains set. Hope the glass bulbs last in windy conditions
