Brighter
Both the
Evo36 &
Evo56 benefit from an innovative new reflector design that multiplies the brightness effect more than any other solar security light design we have seen before.
The
Evo36 Solar Security Light (retailing at £44.99) has 36 LEDs and is brighter than any Solar Security Light we've tested or sold that retails for under £99 (except the
Evo56 of course).
The
Evo56 Solar Security Light (retailing at £69.99) boasts 56 LEDs and is brighter than any Solar Security Light we've ever tested or sold.
The photo comparison below shows the
Evo36 Solar Security Light (top) Vs the
UHP32 (bottom). Both eyes on the UHP32 were drawn together and aimed forwards into the shot. The pictures were taken within a few minutes of each other using a Panasonic DMC-TZ3 set to Simple Mode.
NB: The Evo36 Solar Security Light is £5 less expensive than the UHP32.
More reliable – they work all year round
The Evo's are equipped with generous solar panels that are perfectly balanced with the amount of power they require. For heavy winter use you can add a
Evo Booster Solar Panel made specifically for the Evo's that will keep them going night after night through the dark winter months.
Upgradeable
The Evo's can be upgraded in 2 ways:
Booster Solar Panel Upgrade
The
Evo Booster Solar Panel adds 2w of power to the existing solar panel that comes with the Evo. While the Evo's are designed to work all year round without needing an upgrade panel, the
Evo Booster Solar Panel may be necessary for customers who need to position the Evo's in non-solar friendly locations(such as North facing gardens etc). The
Evo Booster Solar Panel is also strongly recommened for commercial applications or where consistanly heavy winter usage is anticipated. Available seperately for £24.99.

The
Evo Booster Solar Panel simply plugs into the second solar panel socket on the back of the Evo (see below) and works alongside the solar panel that came with your Evo.
Solar Panel Cable Upgrade
We often get asked about extension cables so that customers can position their solar panel further away from their solar security lights. The Evo's come with a generous 5 metre cable out of the box but if that isn't long enough we have
Evo Solar Panel 3m Extension Cables available separately.
More Compact
Many customers who bought last generation security lights felt that the units were too bulky compared with mains powered security lights. The Evo's are styled like compact traditional halogen security lights which are common place on all types of buildings up and down the country. The image below shows the UHP32,
Evo56 and HP30 relative to each other.
Better Build Quality
Every solar security light we have come across have been made from plastic so we were keen to break with that tradition with the Evo's. The Evo's are made predominantly from metal with a glass lens and look much like traditional mains powered solar security lights.
Better Value
Times are tough, so when we designed the Evo's we wanted to make a solar security light that out-classed everything in its range and still be competative on price.
The
Evo36 Solar Security Light (retailing at £45.99) is brighter than any Solar Security Light we've tested or sold that retails for under £100 (except the
Evo56 of course).
The
Evo56 Solar Security Light (retailing at £69.99) has 56 LEDs so is brighter than any Solar Security Light we've ever tested or sold and this includes Solar Security Lights that retail for £100!
Solar Security Lights have become increasingly popular over the last 3 years as electricity prices and environmental pressures soar. Solar Security Lights are incredibly easy to install and there are no operating costs.
