Great lightsVerified Purchase
These lights are great, I have now got three sets. They are powerful and stay illuminated for a long time, if it has been very sunny they have stayed on all night. The only thing I would change would be to make the cables longer. By Paul Bevan on Jan 14, 2021

DelightedVerified Purchase
So delighted with our purchase they illuminate beautifully. Easily installed - simply charged the solar panel for a few days before switching on.
I have placed the spot lights towards our tree ...both colour settings (bright or warm) are perfect, enjoying trying both.
Excellent charge (even as we are heading into Autumn when level of daylight shortens) - complimentary comments from out neighbour.
Finally, added welcome light into our garden during these extraordinary times ..making a huge difference to my wellbeing. Excellent customer service also. By Irene C on Sep 21, 2020

Apollo Solar SpotlightsVerified Purchase
These solar lights are brilliant, miles better than lights available in garden centres. The lighting is as good as 12 volt transformer lights and the solar panel so far has kept the lights on from dusk to dawn, it will be interesting to see how long they stay on as the nights grow longer. The build quality is also very good. Whilst the cable length of 4.5 metres from the panel to each light is reasonable it would have been useful to have been able to buy an extension cable of a couple of metres. Overall, I'm very pleased with the product and the fast delivery by the Solar Centre team. By David Tremeer on Jun 22, 2020

Apollo Solar Spotlights.Verified Purchase
Very impressed with the Apollo Solar Spotlights.
The cable from the lights to the solar panel is very long so you can place the panel where it hits the most sunlight but put the lamps pretty much anywhere you like.
Great to be able to switch from warm to cool white too.
I see the unit automatically dims the output if battery power is getting low but my only quibble is you can't switch to a power saving mode yourself unlike a lot of the newer Solar Centre products.
A very minor moan on what is a very respectable product. By Stephen Rowe on May 11, 2020

Frequently Asked Questions
Question:
Hi
I like the look of these but would need a longer cable for the job. The lights would be used to highlight piece of sculpture in a shady spot but there will be a pergola a few metres away on which I would like to mount the solar panel to maximise exposure to sunlight. Is this possible and if so, could you suggest the extension cable.
Many thanks
Marian By Marian White on Dec 20, 2020
Answer:
Sadly there is no extension cable for the Apollo at this time.
