How often does the batteries need to be recharged?

Hi Adeel, thank you for your message. We advise our customers to leave the lights turned off to fully charge for 3 to 5 days in the sun before switching them on. After that you shouldnt have to recharge them again

Can you explain the battery in more detail? I thought it was solar powered. Why is there a battery too?

You need rechargeable batteries in your solar lights, as the solar panel converts the sunlight into power to charge the batteries, which in turn powers the light.

Where's the solar panel? Can the battery be removed and charged separately? I assume this doesn't need to be wired to the mains?

It's integrated on the top of the light, The battery cannot be removed Im afraid. It doesn't need to be wired in the mains. You simply leave the lights off to charge for 3-5 days and they will be ready for use.

Hi, I want to instal a wall light on a vertical panelled fence, I think it is called feather edged. Basically it is not flat so can the lights be tilted or angled at all to counter the uneven surface of the fence? Thanks

Hello We only recomend having them upright so the panel is facing the sky for the best possible chance of charging.

Hi, could you please tell me how the button is accessed once installed. Also, when the required mouse is selected will the light always operate in that mode? There don't appear to be installation instructions, could you advise on installation please?

Hello Graham, The light is attached to the wall on 2 screws, that slide down into the bracket which holds the light on. The ON/OFF button is on the back of the unit, exactly where the screw sliders are, meaning it can be easily put on and taken off to operate the light. Once the light is switched into a particular mode, it will remain on that mode until switched off.

Very good indeed, did have to charge during a few days but otherwise worked wonders, however the mounting of the lights could be better with a detachable back plate instead of a fixed unit, but otherwise happy
