0 | 0 Haven't paid as much for a light like this and have gone through one or two. It's a manorial light for my lovely late wife and is for her rose bush. Basically wether there is charge init on arrival or has to be charged via usb, I experienced nothing working didn't know if it was charging or not. Found the answer in a form of reply in the reviews. When you switch on the lamp press and hold the button down for several seconds and all is well. Very pleased with the product, well made and looks good. Worth the money. Hope this helps.

0 | 0 I bought two of these lights, 8 years ago. They did not have a USB then, just an inbuilt solar battery on top. One of them stopped working 6 years ago, the other one is still working fairly well. I have just ordered two new lights with the USB stick, as my remaining light is looking its age. I would highly recommend these lights.
